WANDERLUST EXPERIENCE AT BREUIL CERVINIA

For the third year in a row, WOOLRICH and WANDERLUST VISION have collaborated on the Wanderlust Experience, a three-day outdoor event aimed at discovering a new natural territory along with the experience of a creative workshop and, for the first time, an evening of music open to the public.

The location chosen for this stage is in the vicinity of the majestic Matterhorn, which also inspired the choice to use Antonia Pozzi's poem (August 1933) in the invitation card for the Wanderlust Experience.

Ribellione di massi
Cervino
volontà dilaniata.

Tu stai contro alla notte come un asceta assorto in preghiera.
Giungono a te le nuvole cavalcando
su creste nere:
dalle regioni dell'ultima luce
portano doni di porpora e d'oro
al tuo grembo.
Tu affondi nei doni i ginocchi:
chiami le stelle che t'inghirlandino nudo.

Cervino
estasi dura
vittoria
oltre l'informe strazio
eroe sacro.

On these days, guests from a variety of backgrounds had the chance to get to know each other and immerse themselves in the idea of travel proposed by Wanderlust Vision: from presenter Tsellot Melesse and content creator Delfina Rodriguez to Jaimus Tailor, founder of Greater Goods, via Georgia Smith, designer and founder of Purple Mountain Observatory, and Lars from the renowned outdoor social page Advanced Research.

DAY 1.

During the first day of the experience, guests took a walk in the woods with an Allure Alps guide, who introduced some of the tree and moss species. Getting to know the land is a key point for increased awareness of the importance of environmental protection.

During the night, Professor Federico Manzini, an astrophysicist who discovered five supernovae and one comet, gave an introduction about stars and planets through some experiments and practical demonstrations. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, it was not possible to view the stars with equipment although it was scheduled.

DAY 2.

The morning began with a short hike in the surrounding area, learning some survival tips and how to safely start a fire while respecting the environment.

In the afternoon, guests had the opportunity to design and create their own bag during an upcycling workshop led by Lorenzo from the Wanderlust Vision team and Jaimus from Greater Goods. The group tried their hand at cutting and sewing using yards of head wool salvaged from the Woolrich warehouse.

The second day ended with a real party where Klaus and Adiel performed two incredible electronic sets alternating throughout the evening.

For the first time the djset was open to the public and this allowed us to unite in one space our chosen guests together with the community that, with great energy, always supports the events and ideas of Wanderlust Vision.

As is now tradition, for this Wanderlust Experience with Woolrich, we wanted to delve deeper into the American-born brand, deciding to rework the iconic buffalo check pattern on the t-shirt - giving it a frayed effect as if it were threads in a weave - and to use rock-inspired lettering on the black hoodie.

The partnership between Wanderlust Vision and Woolrich has always been based on the mutual enhancement of each other's unique identity elements, seeking to blend them to create incredible new forms.

As always, the whole experience was accompanied by two photographers, also guest participants in the proposed activities, who used their artistic slant to tell their point of view of the event: Mattia Greghi and Simone Biavati.
