Imola Ceramica – Design Week 2025

[ 2025 – Apis in Luce ]

The 2025 project explored light, time, and natural processes through the cyanotype technique, referencing Imola Ceramica’s iconic symbol—the bee, emblem of making and creating. Wanderlust Vision designed a custom UV light oven to develop the cyanotype prints, allowing visitors to actively participate by creating ceramic tiles.

The designs featured a curated selection of flowers favored by bees for pollination, while elements inspired by hives and honeycombs structured the space. A live WASP 3D printer produced ceramic vases inspired by beehive geometries, reinforcing the connection between nature, craftsmanship, technology, and transformation.

Imola Ceramica – Design Week 2024

[ 2024 – The Sound of Matter ]

The 2024 installation investigated the relationship between sound and matter through an interactive environment where ceramic objects, acoustic instruments, and digital systems converged. A highly immersive setup, defined by bold colors and controlled lighting, guided visitors from an entrance illuminated by special lights that neutralized color perception - turning the space monochromatic yellow - to focus attention on sound as the project’s core element. Inside, auto-generative music, robotic solenoids, and responsive visuals created an evolving dialogue between analog and digital, inviting visitors to actively shape the soundscape.
