La Serenissima

Inspired by the second album of Rondò Veneziano published in 1981, “La Serenissima” is an ode to the city of Venice and its legacy.

Rondò Veneziano is an Italian chamber orchestra that combines Baroque music played by original instruments with pop and rock rhythm sections.

Born in 1979 thanks to an idea of Baby Record discographer Freddy Naggiar and venetian composer Gian Pier Reverberi, this group is the materialization of progressive authenticity and ancient roots’ evolution, celebrating tradition with a contemporary approach
