After the first experience, we decided with Woolrich to make a step ahead, giving life to a new adventure. This time in Plan de Corones, a place where multiple disciplines connect each other: from the Architectural work of Zaha Hadid to the stunning photography retrospectives at Lumen, passing through chef Norbert Niedelkofler’s “Cook the Mountain” lifestyle. A fascinating melting pot of cultures and values, pushing a conscious approach to actions and ideas. After almost 200 years of heritage, Woolrich is still stimulating contamination and authenticity. From the outdoors, for the outdoors.
After one year, Wanderlust Vision decided to come back to Cortina. But in a different way. Testing a new format, the experience one: two days of activities, entertainment and conversations.
An interactive and bidirectional project that combines the digital part of Klaus live set and the physical warmth of a real happening.
Guests were involved into a full immersion event, from the hiking experience around Rifugio Lagazuoi, up to 2752 meters above the sea level, to Klaus’s set performance in front of the observatory at Col Druscié (1778M), surrounded by the stunning snowy Dolomites.
The idea was to gather a group of creatives belonging to multiple fields: from the artist Mecna to content creators such as Surry and Nick Pescetto, passing through the holistic health coach Johanna Maggy and the hand-knit designer Alice Sofia Navarin. Together with them also Gabriele Casaccia, Slam Jam creative director, and Achille Mauri who recently directed the film “Calumer”. All of them united under the passion for outdoors.
Wanderlust Vision’s purpose is to foster an idea of traveling as the right tool to learn respect, for people and for the nature around. Informing and raising awareness while entertaining is the mission.
Being music the main pillar, the set track-list has been curated with the aim of enhancing Wanderlust Records with a selection of 10 tracks produced by our label amongst a total of 15.
For this occasion we developed a scenography which is referring to one of our core elements: the topographic maps. The stage is composed by four wood levels one over the other, each of them with a different color hue starting from our iconic blue, plus a steel table that represents the exact half of the Wanderlust star logo.
The overall event was made possible by Woolrich which is fostering young realities and ideas that can stimulate communities and minds around towards environmental consciousness, creative contamination and resolutive approaches. Woolrich was born in 1830 with the mission of empowering life in the outdoors, and the first garment was a wool shirt in the iconic Buffalo Check motif.
]]>On the occasion of the 1600 anniversary of Venice, Wanderlust wants to celebrate a history of legacy, cultural discoveries and desire to Wander through a live performance set in the frame of the Serenissima.
A project in collaboration with Comune Venezia and Vela spa to support the celebration of the city foundation’s anniversary, coordinate by official committee chaired by major Luigi Brugnaro. Indeed Venice has been home for explorers, voyagers and citizens of the world: people that had been fostering the value of sharing and innovating.
From Marco Polo who was the first one to exchange products up to the Middle East, to Antonio Vivaldi whose music was a social collector aiming to bring communities together from a theatre to another (at that time in Venice there were 1 theatre every 350 inhabitants), passing through the patron Peggy Guggenheim that transformed a passion in a way to safeguard Art, feeding the connection between Europe and America.
Venice has always been a melting pot of open creativity and mutual contamination avoiding prejudices and restrictions, for the sake of beauty and conscious knowledge. In order to guide our wanderers toward a more responsible and reflective future, we brought back an object that is part of the story of this maritime republic, the “Carnet de Voyage”, the ideal tool to narrate a story with a very personal point of view: in the 18th century, for the ones approaching the “Grand Tour”, it was crucial to exhibit what they experienced during the travel thanks to a collection of drawings, notes and illustrations.
And we want to encourage you to do the same, even in your daily life, because your perception can inspire future generations of wanderers. As a location, we picked the well-known Punta della Dogana, for which we thank Palazzo Grassi Pinault collection: representing the start or the end of Canal Grande, it has always been the point of arrival or departure of millions and millions of people travelling to Venice. At the top of this place there is a gold rotating statue symbolizing Occasio, the Roman goddess of chance, who was the one entitled to show the wind direction to travellers.
Regarding the music side, the set includes two unreleased tracks that take inspiration from the city, one paying homage to “Rondò Veneziano” called “La Serenissima” and the other one to Vivaldi’s Spring.
